SCR systems have created a paradigm shift for vehicle operation. Put simply, the way vehicles cannot function when their fuel tanks are empty is the same way they also cannot function when their Urea / Adblue tanks are empty.
The DEF level sensor (AdBlue level sensor), which is part of the DEF sending unit, measures the level of fluid remaining in the DEF tank. When the liquid level is low, the DEF level sensor sends a signal to the vehicle’s ECU which then triggers the warning light on the gauges or panel. However, the DEF sending unit typically has more functionality than just liquid level measurement.
Everlast has strong technology team and tooled up the aftermarket DEF level sensor. Currently the technology of the DEF level sensor is combined with DEF heater & the level sensor which is measured by the ultrasonic.
